Language Arts: Story Time!

I am going to show you how fun grammar can be! Tomorrow we will be learning about those neat little things called "quotations." We have already started to write short stories, now we are going to learn to punctuate sentences. Writing is a process and it is a craft that must be fine tuned through revising and rewriting. Go to BookPALS and watch Private I. Guana.

**Write down two quotes from the story in your writing journal. What did you notice about the sentence structures on the screen?
Where are the quotations placed?
We will be discussing it in class tomorrow!**

Draw a picture of I. Guana!

You are planning to apply for a job as a junior trainer with the coast guard. You will be responsible for training other people on how one can use sound and light for rescue purposes.

Take a look at the four forms of energy!

In addition, you will be applying your knowledge of light and sound to the real-life situations you may encounter during your training.
